Network 5 seeks to improve the seasonal flu immunization rate for the period September 1, 2011 - March 31, 2012, through an influenza immunization awareness campaign, together with primary data collection and the provision of educational materials. Targets for the intervention are hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients receiving care in all settings, with the exception of military treatment centers, Veterans Health Administration hospitals, acute care facilities, and prisons. Adult and pediatric patients, including dialysis patients in nursing home-based units are included.
