WIPEOut Preventing HAIs Project

The Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition/Network 5 is conducting a Bloodstream Infections (BSIs) Project, WipeOut, to reduce BSI rates among dialysis patients. Selected facilities will be provided with guidance to improve implementation of the CDC Recommended Interventions for Dialysis BSI Prevention. Project WipeOut will lead to the ultimate goal of a 5% or greater relative reduction in BSI rates creating a safer environment for dialysis patients.
