The Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition/Network 5 is conducting a NHSN data quality Project to increase dialysis facility reporting of bloodstream infections (BSIs) among dialysis patients that are identified in a hospital. Network 5 will work with selected facilities to improve the information transfer from hospitals to their outpatient dialysis facilities for both the purposes of BSI surveillance and quality of care for patients.
Coming soon: The first cohort of dialysis facilities will be enrolled in this project January 1, 2017.
