Benchmark Facilities
Benchmarking is a search for best practices that leads to superior performance. Achievable Benchmarks of Care (ABC) is an approach to benchmarking developed at the University of Alabama, is an objective way of identifying benchmark care levels already achieved by top performers in an industry. The Network used this approach to calculate the current benchmark for A-V fistulas in the Network 5 region.
The facilities listed below have met or exceeded the 63% A-V fistula benchmark criteria as of October 2007, and care for about 10% of the Network 5 patient population:
